Workshop Offerings for Helpers

Designed to allow those who help others to reflect on their wellness, receive strategies, and build tools to strengthen their commitment to taking care of themselves as they care for others.

Reframing and Challenging Negative Core Beliefs

When we live with past trauma and broken attachment, it affects our thoughts and actions, and inhibits healthy self-image and coping. We will explore how to rewrite our narrative and core beliefs in a way that is more respectful, accurate, and kind.

Bringing Trauma Informed Practice into every area of your work

Including your relationship with yourself. Our minds and bodies keep the score of all we have lived through. We know the behaviour we see from others is often a trauma response and that all behaviour has meaning. We will use a Trauma Informed lens to explore our patterns of response to others and ourselves.

Understanding Compassion Fatigue and Vicarious Trauma

And working to recover from them. Burnout and being disturbed from the injustices and hurt we know about can take a toll on our minds and bodies. Being affected by Compassion Fatigue, Vicarious Trauma, and Moral Injury is damaging. Acknowledging, understanding, and taking steps to heal can make a huge difference.

"Linda led our team through a workshop on Vicarious Trauma, Compassion Fatigue & Burnout. She has a warm, caring approach and reminded us through her interactive workshop that we are important and that we must take care of ourselves while doing this very important work. Our team would recommend Linda's leadership as a way to reconnect with colleagues and to recognize and value yourself, your team and the work you do!"
